Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Ballot for?
The current ballot is not a contract. It is a tool for the CICWCD to determine whether the property owners in Chekshani Cliffs are willing to pay for improvements and would like CICWCD to pursue further research, and eventually discover the best water improvement option for the subdivision.
When are ballots due?
Ballots should be turned in or postmarked by January 24th, 2019.
When will ballots be counted?
CICWCD will count the ballots on February 8th, 2019.
How will Chekshani Cliffs property owners know the results?
Ballot results will be posted on our website at https://cicwcd.org/chekshani-cliffs/ on February 8th. Property Owners can also call our office at 435.865.9901.
Where can I find additional info?
Presentations from meetings and other info will be posted on https://cicwcd.org/chekshani-cliffs/. You can also call or visit CICWCD office.
What happens after the ballots are counted?
If there is support from the property owners, CICWCD will pursue further results about the water chemistry and will work to choose the best improvement option (new well or treatment facility) for the subdivision.
If there is support when can we expect construction for the new improvement project?
Construction is expected to move forward in the mid-summer months if there is support from the property owners.
If there is support when can we expect the new water improvement project to be complete?
With the support of Chekshani property owners, we are hopeful that the new and improved water will be coming out of property owner’s taps during September or October 2019.
